Women in my generation are having a much harder time getting pregnant than ever before in history. And, it makes sense – environmental, cultural and pharmaceutical footprints in the millennium are far different than they were 30 or even 15 years ago. The birth control pill was just being developed in my mothers’ time! The environment is more toxic than it has ever been, stress levels are at an all time high, and food quality is getting worse and worse. Still, there is hope. Reproductive technology has revolutionized conception to an exact science. And, natural treatment options have also proven to be extremely effective in supporting and enhancing fertility, conception, healthy pregnancies, and beyond.

Naturopathic Medicine is brilliant for enhancing fertility and supporting pregnancy. Much research has been done on the positive effects Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture has on basic conception and on improving the odds of high tech reproduction. In addition to acupuncture, naturopathic doctors use nutrition, botanical medicine, lifestyle counseling and homeopathic medicine depending on each individual case. These therapies can address scar tissue or adhesions in the pelvis, rebalance hormones, dissipate emotional traumas, clear toxicity, enhance detoxification, prevent recurrent miscarriage, improve sperm quality and motility, and improve each phase of the menstrual cycle. Not every couple will need the same constellation of therapies; therefore we tailor treatment our plans for each individual.

We have developed a fertility enhancement program that combines naturopathic medicine and a combination of chiropractic, psychotherapy, energetic medicine and/or massage therapy. The components of this naturopathic program are designed to be flexible allowing for individual couples needs - whether its acupuncture to assist IVF, detoxification as a first step in fertility preparation, addressing anxiety, quieting physical pain, or simply relaxation support while navigating the monthly ups and downs of trying to get pregnant.

Naturopathic Medicine:

• Initial visit (90 minutes) $150
• 8 Acupuncture: 30 minute sessions either once weekly or as needed $ 50 each
• 2 Follow ups: 30 minute sessions once monthly following the program $90
